Ash Resources, based at Lethabo, (Sasolburg in Free state) has a vacancy for:
Maintenance Superintendent
Responsibilities include (but not limited to the following):
- Ensure effective maintenance is performed on all plant/ infrastructure / equipment as required to limit potential failure and optimize production processes.
- Coordinate first line maintenance to restrict or prevent plant / equipment downtime.
- Provide management with the required statistical reports on performance.
- Create and approve job cards for all maintenance work required.
- Ensure that equipment and work areas are safe and maintained by operators.
- Ensure that housekeeping principles are always adhered to.
- demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with the company core values.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g. Safety, Environmental regulations, Labour Legislation and ensure site compliance.
- Drive and participate in all fault analysis on equipment failure.
- Explore opportunities to control and reduce costs.
Minimum Qualification/Experience:
- Preferably a qualification in Engineering / a certified trade.
- Experience in maintenance operations with at least 5 years’ + experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
- A code 08 driver’s license.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Must be a team player with natural leadership skills, and proven track record in doing things the “Afrimat Way”.
