Loader Operators (x 2)
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- Grade 12
- Must be literate and functionally numerate
- 3 – 5 years in a similar environment
- Must have valid operator certificate for a Front End Loader
- Able to work in a team and under pressure
- Able to work extended hours and /or shifts/night work
- Basic mechanical knowledge and background advantageous
- Be able to sit in the machine for long periods
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Operating Front-End Loader on site to load all trucks with product in time without contamination
- Ensure that all stockpiles are kept neat and safe
- Operate F.E.L in a respectable manner in line with the training received
- Keep the machine clean, safe and in good working order by completing daily pre-start checklist correctly
- Assist with the housekeeping around the production area
- Be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to carry out instructions given by your superior
- Be safety conscious
- Report on general elementary mechanical problems
- Operate all equipment with adherence to the relevant Health and Safety advisories and procedure
- Communicate effectively within the team
