Afrimat Cement Plant, based in Lichtenburg has a vacancy for a:
Dispatch Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- Grade 12\ NQF Level 4
- Relevant degree or diploma (Logistics)
- 3 years’ experience in a similar warehouse environment
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Supervise and lead a team of dispatchers to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate dispatch of shipments or service calls
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during the dispatching process, including delays, accidents, or service failures
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of dispatchers and provide coaching and training as needed
- Prepare and review daily dispatch reports and metrics to ensure performance goals are met
- Develop and implement dispatching policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity
- Resolve customer complaints related to delivery or service issues promptly and professionally
- Perform other duties as required by management
- Assure compliance with protocols, procedures, guidelines, policy, and law
- Train current personnel on new dispatch equipment, procedures, policies, and regulations in group and one-on-one settings
