Creditors Clerk
Minimum Qualification/Experience:
- School Grade: Matric / Grade 12
- Qualification: Diploma or equal qualification in Financial Accounting (or similar
- Driver’s License: Yes Valid driver’s license
- At least two years’ experience in a similar position
- Have knowledge and experience with ERP software (Preferably Accpac
- Have knowledge and experience with the latest B BBEE codes
- Must have the ability to work under extreme pressure to meet deadlines, etc
- Must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to prioritize and have good time management skills
- Must have ability to adapt to regular changes
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of accuracy and timeous communication
- Good communicator and work ethic
- Problem solving ability
- Assertive
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Arranging payments for creditors by capturing invoices, preparing reconciliations
- Ensuring credit applications are done and approved
- Ensuring payment of utility accounts
- Month end and year end reporting
- Preparing and assisting with audits
- AD HOC assignments
